Ms. Elnara has 22 years’ experience working in teaching and leadership roles in national and international schools.Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in English Philology from the University of Foreign Languages and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. She has got CELTA and EYL from International House World Organization.
Ms.Lala Shahmaliyeva has a Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, Azerbaijan University of Languages, diploma of the Faculty of Additional Education and Practice (Azerbaijan University of Languages). She has 3 years of experience as a secretary/translator in Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Baku, 3 years of Private English language tutoring experience and 1- year of teacher coordinator experience in one of the international schools in Baku. Currently, she is a Primary Teacher in Landau school – Narimanov campus.
For last 3 years, Ms.Sabina worked as a teacher at Pre-school education center. Her main job at LANDAU School is to communicate with parents, provide information and keep the record of LANDAU’s prospective students.
PRIMARY DEPUTY PRINCIPAL
Ms. Chinara holds a bachelor’s degree in philology from Azerbaijan University of Languages and a master’s degree in linguistics from Azerbaijan Cooperation University. She has 11 years of experience as a teacher and educational leader in various international schools. Ms. Chinara has also served as an IB PYP trainer and a PYP Coordinator, coordinating the implementation of the IBPYP curriculum in numerous IB schools. She is a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) member. Ms. Chinara works as a deputy principal at the Bayil Campus of LANDAU Primary School.
Ms Natavan graduated from Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov with a degree in psychology. This profession was not chosen by chance, since a person, his nature, thoughts, feelings, have always been of interest to her. She appreciates the trust of children and their worries and thoughts are always important to her. She is always ready to hear and to make you understand yourself. Together with the child who needs help, she is looking for ways to solve problems, helps to find the internal resources of the body in order to cope with mental pain.
Ms. Aynur Gulmammadova has 6 years of teaching experience in international schools. Her educational background includes a Bachelor`s Degree in English Philology from Azerbaijan University of Languages, Master`s Degree (Honours) in English Philology from Qafqaz University and CELTA (Cambridge English Language Teaching to Adults).
Ms.Aynur Suleymanova has 12 years of teaching experience in different international schools.She has great passionate to work with young people and is aware of the importance of education in a student’s life.She is always open to new ideas and set creative environment in the classroom where all children can learn from their mistakes.Currently ,she is a Primary mainstream teacher in Landau Primary School-Narimanov campus.
Ms. Narmina has a bachelor’s degree in English Language Philology from the Azerbaijan University of Foreign Languages. Her training includes different teaching methods and techniques from TEFL and TESOL, including Teaching English to Young Learners, Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Teaching Business English. Ms. Narmina’s chosen career path and long-term goal are to become an internationally accredited teacher in the Azerbaijan Republic, as working with, educating and nurturing children have always been her dream and passion.
Ms. Azada is a graduate of the Azerbaijan University of Languages. She has fifteen years of experience in teaching young learners and adults. She holds TESOL, IELTS, Jolly Phonics and many other relevant certificates. She also has over five years of experience in human resources management.
Ms. Khayala has a bachelor’s degree in English Philology from Baku Qizlar (Girls) University. She has thirteen years of experience as an English teacher. She has certificates of TEFL, TKT and TESOL (ongoing).
Ms. Guldasta has seven years of teaching experience in one of the international schools in Baku. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in English language teaching from Azerbaijan University. Currently she is a primary teacher at Landau School – Bayil campus.
Ms. Gulnar Ibrahimova has five years of teaching experience in international schools. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree from Khazar University in English Philology, a master’s degree from Baku Engineering University in “Method and methodology of primary education, all three modules of TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) Certificates. Currently, Ms. Gulnar is a mainstream teacher at Landau Primary School -Sea Breeze branch.
Ms. Narmina Abdullayeva earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, South Korea. In February 2020, she completed an intense CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) course and obtained certification from Cambridge University. In April 2020, she completed an international training on Introduction Data Wise: a collaborative process to improve teaching and learning from Harvard University. From November 2016 to March 2017 she attended intensive Korean Language courses and was certified by the Center for Korean Language and Culture Hankuk University of Foreign Studies( Seoul, South Korea). Ms. Narmina worked at Yeoksam Global Village Center under Gangnam district municipality (Seoul, South Korea). She spent a year there educating both children and adults and got the Certificate of Appreciation while working there. Ms. Narmina is currently employed as a Mainstream Teacher at the Bayil Campus of LANDAU Primary School.
I have graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Languages with a bachelor’s degree in teaching English as a second language. Currently, I am studying for a master’s degree at ADA University in the field of education management. After graduation, I served as a PYP Homeroom instructor in various international schools in Baku. I was in charge of 15 students, which allowed me to strengthen my skills in dealing with behavioral problems while keeping children focused and interested in the classroom. Having mixed-ability students in the classroom, has helped me to understand the importance of differentiation, and encouraged me to implement differentiation in my classroom, which can lead to a positive effect on student achievement in an elementary school. Having international certificates such as TKT YL (Young Learners), TESOL from Arizona State University, CELTA-P, Professional Child Psychology Diploma and Empower every student with an inclusive classroom, Dyslexia Awareness courses, makes me eligible to work and support students who have learning difficulties.
ICT teacher in Landau Primary School
Ms. Naila Amirbayova graduated from Baku State University , Department of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, and started to work as an ICT teacher. In the year of 2008 she got her Master of Science in Informatics and Development of Educational Applications Methodics Degree from Baku State University. She is the founder of several computer literacy courses, developer of methodical aids for international courses, formal translator from English to Azerbaijani in the Scratch (by MIT) programming environment and a certified STEM and Lego Education teacher. Ms. Naila has worked in different national and international educational institutions.
Ms. Dinara has 13 years experience of teaching English. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English Philology from the University of Foreign Languages.
Ms. Aysel has 4 years experience working in teaching and leadership roles in international schools. Her educational background includes a Bachelor Degree in English language Teaching from Odlar Yurdu University. She has got different International Educational Certificates.
Ms. Gulshan Bakhishli has 10 years of teaching experience in public and international schools. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Languages in Philology, Master’s Degree from University of Languages in “Teaching Methodology of English Language , Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages – (Cert. TESOL by ACCREDITAD ) and PGCEI (Postgraduate Certificate in International Education) from University of Nottingham.
Ms. Sura studied in several international schools such as George C. Marshall American School, Ankara, Turkey, and Abu Dhabi Grammar School (Canada). She has completed the Bespoke English Language Training Programme (C 1) at the University of Essex in the U.K., and scored 8.5/9.0 in IELTS. Ms.Sura holds a bachelor’s (honours) degree in English Language Teaching from the Azerbaijan University of Languages, and a master’s degree with honours in Methods of Teaching the English Language from Baku Slavic University. Previously, she worked at one of the international schools in Baku, and is currently a Mainstream Teacher and Grade 3 Coordinator at Landau Primary school.
Khayala Gasymova has a bachelor’s degree from Qafqaz University. She worked as an interpreter of the Vietnamese at ADB in 2015. She has 5 years of teaching experience. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Teaching. She has got local and international teaching certificates.
Ms.Aygun Muslimli holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English Philology. She has CELTA (Cambridge English Language Teaching to Adults, Tbilisi, Georgia). Ms. Aygun is an experienced primary teacher with over 18 years of experience in different international schools, working with different aged primary classes. She has successfully implemented different primary programs like CIPP, Oxford Primary, British Curriculum to mixed ability groups with a first and second language approach.Currently, she is a mainstream teacher in Landau Primary School – Narimanov campus
Ms. Chinara Alakbarova has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Teaching (Azerbaijan University of Foreign Languages /2012-2016 ). She passed an Intensive Course of English Language and was certified by Deutsch Academy in Austria , 2015. She moved to Hungary , Debrecen city in 2016 and worked there for 3 months as an English Teacher in the training center. In 2018 she moved to People’s Republic of China and worked there for 1 year teaching both kids and adults. At the same place she passed an International Certificates ( TEFL and TESOL). Currently, Ms. Chinara is a mainstream teacher in Landau Primary School.
Ms.Aytan Ismayilova has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Teaching pedagogics and Master’s Degree in Linguistics from the University of Foreign Languages,Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies from Economical University, School Management and Leadership from Khazar University, CELTA (Cambridge Engish Language Teaching to Adults) International house – Hungary,Budapest.She owns IELTS with 7.5 band. Ms Aytan has 15 years of international experience as a teacher. She has worked as a teacher and a coordinator at one of the international schools in Baku for 11 years. Currently, she is a mainstream teacher and the events coordinator in Landau Primary School – Narimanov campus.
Ms. Safura Karimova holds an honored diploma of bachelor’s degree at Qafqaz University in translation and interpretation faculty. Ms. Karimova has received TKT Certificates Module 1, 2, and 3. She has 10 years of experience in the teaching field.Ms. Safura Karimova has 2 years of international experience as a teaching assistant, She has been tutoring SAT verbal part for 8 years. Ms. Safura Karimova is a mainstream teacher in primary school in Landau school currently- Narimanov campus.
Primary Math Coordinator
Mrs.Arzu Huseynova has a bachelor’s degree at Baku State University in Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics field and master’s degree in MBA field. She has 10 years of experience as a Mathematics teacher in international schools both in primary and secondary classes and 7 years of experience as a Head of Math Department. Her students got success in Checkpoint Cambridge (Primary and Secondary), IGCSE and State exams. Currently she is both a Math Coordinator and a mainstream math teacher in primary school in Landau school- Narimanov campus.
Azerbaijani language Teacher
Ms. Vusala Bayramova graduated from Khazar University with a bachelor’s degree in philology, Azerbaijani language and literature, and a master’s degree in MBA, Business Organization and Management from the Azerbaijan State Economic University. She has worked in a public school environment and she also spent two years as a teacher at an international school. She is currently employed as an Azerbaijani Teacher at the Bayil campus of Landau Primary School. Ms. Vusala is a committed and hardworking Azerbaijan language teacher who is dedicated to providing a fun, learning, and growing atmosphere for children.
Ms. Laman has her first working experience in Landau school from February 2019. Her educational background includes a Bachelor Degree in English language Teaching from Azerbaijan University of Languages.
Ms. Zemfira Aslanova graduated from the Kyrgyz National University’s Institute of Foreign Languages with a bachelor’s degree in linguistics. Ms. Zemfira has 7 years of experience as a teacher and 5 years of experience as a private English language tutor. She has been working at Landau Primary School for the past two years.
Gulnisa Ismayilova graduated from department of Primary School Teacher, Baku Slavic University in 2019. She has 1 year of experience as a teacher assistant in international school and 3 years experience as a tutor. Now she works as a primary teaching assistant in Landau School.
Firangiz Nabisoy has 7 years of experience educating young students. In 2015, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education studies from Baku Slavic University. She began working as an English teacher in a pre-school in her third year of university. She was tutoring students for their entrance tests meanwhile. She has pedagogical skills as well as considerable teaching experience. Ms. Firangiz began her LANDAU journey in May 2019. She graduated from Landau Academy with honors. She has been a mainstream teacher at Landau School for the past two years.
Ms. Khadija graduated from Azerbaijan University of Languages with a bachelor’s degree. She graduated from Landau Academy, passed the IELTS test successfully, and began her Landau career in 2019 by teaching Math in Pre-Landau courses. She also serves as a Math teacher at Leznik & Co and currently teaches Math in Grade 3 at Landau Primary School.
Ms. Reyhan Jafarova graduated from department of Primary School Teacher (EN), Baku Engineering University in 2019. She wants to create a unique atmosphere where students can learn from their mistakes, share their opinions openly, and use their imaginations and creativity for having a better future. She has the ability to build caring relationships with students.
Afsana Abdullayeva has a Bachelor’s Degree in English language and literature(teaching) from Qafqaz University. She passed an Intensive course of English Language and was certified by Valencia College in America,Orlando ,2014. She has a strong desire to work with children. She graduated from Landau Academy in June, 2019. She has been working at Landau Primary School since July, 2019.
Ms.Esmira Asadova has graduated from Azerbaijan University Of Languages. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English and literature . She has 2 years of teaching experience in training and educational courses as an English teacher and 6 month experience in International school as a teaching assistant.
RUSSIAN LANGUAGE TEACHER
Fidan Akbarli has four years of experience as a Russian language and literature teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree as a Russian language and literature teacher from Baku Slavic University. She has a range of educational certificates. Simultaneously, she is training students for entrance exams. She has a strong desire to teach students in all primary school grades. At the moment, she is working as a Russian language instructor at LANDAU School.
Math Teachers` assinstant
I am Amina Hajiyeva. I have graduated from Qafqaz University with a bachelor’s degree (Math and Informatics teacher), and I’m doing my master’s degree at Baku State University at the moment. In October 2019, I started my Landau Academy journey. Currently, I am working as a primary teacher assistant at Landau School.
Ms. Aygun has graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Languages (English Philology 3.5/4 GPA). She has been teaching both children and adults. Ms. Aygun conducted Business English classes in several local and international companies. Ms. Aygun taught Business English in a number of local and international companies. She gained experience teaching children and teenagers while working for one of Baku’s most famous language schools. While she was working for Celt Colleges, she got experienced in teaching kids and teenagers. She has several certificates such as IELTS, which she received after graduating university. She also attended TKT learning classes held by LSA.
Ms. Gunay Hajiyeva has a bachelor’s degree from Azerbaijan University of Languages, and a master’s degree from the Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University. She began her career as a teacher assistant in IELTS lessons and a General English language teacher at one of Baku’s language schools. Ms. Gunay has also worked as a teacher assistant in one of Baku’s international schools. After leaving Academstar, she worked as a teacher assistant at The International School of Azerbaijan (TISA).
Ms. Dunya Mahmudova was born on 08.09.1994 in the Geochai region of Azerbaijan. In 2001, she went to school in Achinsk, Russia. In 2012, after finishing school in Baku, she started her career as a tutor. In the same year, she entered the Azerbaijan University of Foreign Languages, and got her bachelor’s in English language teaching in 2018. She then began working at one of the language schools in Baku. She has the certificates of using The Web 2 in education, and Jolly Phonics. In 2020, she started to work at Landau Primary School, and also to learn German and French.
Ms.Nigar Aliyeva graduated from the Educational Department of the Azerbaijan University of Languages in 2020. She has attended teaching sessions at Landau Academy, and also an internship program at one of the private schools in Baku. Her goal is to foster and maintain an open, honest, and supportive classroom in which each pupil feels safe, secure, and special.
Ms.Nargiz Mamedova has a bachelor’s degree in English Philology from the Azerbaijan University of Languages. She has two years of experience working in international online schools, and also worked as a private teacher for one and a half year.
My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in English language teaching from the Azerbaijani University of languages. I have one year of experience as a teacher assistant in an international school, and one year of experience as an English teacher also in another international school. I am studying towards getting my TKT certificate.
I have got a bachelor’s degree from the Economic University of Azerbaijan (International Economic Relationship, exam points -637), and a master’s degree from Baku state university. At the same time, I have been attending ATS – Azərbaycan Tələbə Şəbəkəsi, (English language courses and individual tutoring). I have 3 years of work experience. In October 2019, I started my Landau Academy journey. Currently, I am working as a primary teacher assistant at Landau School.
I was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, in 1993. I have graduated from Baku Slavic University majoring in English Philology. I am a caring teacher demonstrating skills in strategic classroom management and effective discipline. I am an enthusiastic English teacher with a knack for making learning exciting and enjoyable, motivated by the belief that all children can be successful learners. I am trying to be a teacher with an ability to establish cooperative, professional relationships with parents, staff, and administration, to be a clear communicator who prioritizes students’ success, as well as their holistic development. Being a teacher is a great joy for me as I buff of teaching and encouraging youngsters for education. Children are charging me with a full dose of positive energy. I have a huge desire to teach the students in all grades in a primary school. I began my career as a teacher at one of the international schools in Baku, and I have four years of teaching experience. I would also like to mention that I was certified as an accredited oral examiner for PTE General and PTE Young Learners in 2018. It is also worth pointing out that I have attended 10 hours of training on Drama Techniques in ELT by Paul Harvey. I was also awarded for completing a short course on Teaching Lexically by Andrew Walkley. I am not going to stop achieve more as I have a bunch of goals left to accomplish. My mission is to inspire each child to the best destination.
Ms. Narmin Allahverdiyeva has a bachelor’s degree in English language teaching with honors from Azerbaijan University of Languages and a master’s degree in Linguistics with honors from Khazar University, as well as a certificate in “Teaching Math in Primary Schools.” She has 6 years of teaching experience in various settings and has been employed at Landau School for 7 months as a Primary Math Teacher.
Ms.Gulshan holds a bachelor’s degree from the Azerbaijan University of Languages. She holds an honored diploma. She has completed her master’s degree at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical university. She has worked as an English teacher in a variety of language schools. Then she worked in Hadaf courses. Apart from it, Ms. Gulshan is a private tutor.
Ms.Farida Najafova is a music teacher, graduated from the Baku Music Academy named after U. Hajibeyov (honors degree). She has 6 years of experience in the music industry (Trio Education Center, Kodomo – kindergarten, and etc.). She is a laureate of the International Piano Competition dedicated to I.S.Bach (Estonia), and also performed and performs at many concerts in Azerbaijan. She communicates with children very well, introduces them to the world of music and helps them love music from an early age. Her entire experience is based on teaching children music in a tireless manner, including games. She brings the achievements of her students to music competitions, concerts, events.
Ms Sabina is a teacher of Russian Language and Literature. She has a PhD degree in Russian. She loves children so much that dedicated her career to teaching. Ms Sabina’s enthusiasm and passion brings magic world of Russian literature alive.
Ms. Nigar graduated from Baku Engineering University. She completed university with distinction. Her faculty was Chemistry teaching in English. She completed her master degree’s in Chemical Kinetic and Catalyst at the Institute of Catalyst and Inorganic Chemistry of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences this year and awarded honored diplomas from bachelor and master’s degrees. She has previously worked as a chemistry teacher, IGCSE chemistry tutor, and researcher. Ms. Nigar has been a teacher for four years. She has her own methods on teaching. For each grade and even each class she attempts to find new interesting things which are related to topics and the level of students. She likes to encourage her students while they are learning new things.
Ms. Leila holds a bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature from Baku Slavic University. She began her career as a tutor and she has three years of experience in her field. Ms. Leyla’s lessons are designed to help students improve their speaking skills. She has excellent pedagogical skills and instructional techniques that she employs during the class.
With a passion for the combination of technology, creativity and innovation, Ms. Aynur is an active participant in various technology and art projects both in and out of school. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Azerbaijan State Art Academy. Ms. Aynur has over 10-years’ experience in teaching Art. She participated in multiple international exhibitions all over the world. She was elected a member of Académie Européenne des Arts Grand-Duché Luxembourg.
Azerbaijani Language Teacher
Ms.Gular holds a Bachelor’s degree in Azerbaijan Language and Literature Teaching from Baku State University and Master’s Degree in World Literature from Baku State University. She has worked at Baku Modern School as a volunteer Azerbaijani Language teacher. She takes the classes in a funny and interesting way for each grade, encourages all of children to speak in Azerbaijani Language. Currently, she is a Azerbaijan Language teacher in Landau school – Narimanov campus.
Gulnar Hasanova earned her bachelor’s degree from Azerbaijan’s University of Languages. She has a master’s degree in English Methodology and Literature with honors. She has completed many teacher preparation courses and is a CELTA and Train the Trainer certified instructor. Ms. Gulnar has more than ten years of teaching experience and has worked as an English instructor and teacher trainer.
Ms. Nazrin Mammadova graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Languages with a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language Teacher and a master’s degree in Foreign Language Teaching Methods and Methodology. She has seven years of experience teaching students and adults. She completed TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Arizona State University-150 hours), Teaching Language Online, Technology Enriched Teaching, How to be a Together Teacher, and other different private courses in teaching. She is currently working as a floating teacher at the Bayil campus of Landau Primary School.
Nurufat Mammadova graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Languages with a bachelor’s degree in foreign language teaching and she has a master’s degree from Istanbul University. She has worked as a teacher for the past six years. She has completed many international teacher training programs and holds an IELTS certificate.
Ms. Aysel holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching from Baku Girls University. She has four years of experience teaching English in various international schools and courses. Arizona State University has awarded Ms. Aysel a TESOL certificate for completing a 150-hour International TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) course. She has earned various certificates, including “The Mindfulness in Schools Project” and “Teaching For Success Understanding Child Protection.” Ms. Aysel has also successfully completed HarvardX’s “Introduction to Data Wise: A Collaborative Process to Improve Learning and Teaching.”
Ms. Elvira graduated from Azerbaijan University of Languages with a bachelor’s degree. She has a 120-hour TESOL/TEFL certificate (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from World Tesol Academy, APTIS. She began her LANDAU ACADEMY journey in November 2020 and has one and a half years of experience working as a private teacher. She is currently employed as a teaching assistant at Landau Primary School and pursuing her TKT and Celta certificates.
Nubar Agakishiyeva has a bachelor’s degree in English as a Foreign Language Education from Azerbaijan University of Languages. She received an IELTS certificate as well as an Aptis for Teachers certificate in 2019. She graduated from the University of Cambridge’s Cambridge Assessment English course “Teaching English Online” in May 2020. World Tesol Academy awarded her a 120-hour TESOL/TEFL Certificate. She has worked as an English language instructor at several organizations. She has five years of experience teaching both children and adults. Ms. Nubar is a Teaching Assistant to a Mainstream Teacher at Landau Primary School.
Ms. Nuray Aliyeva graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Languages with a bachelor’s degree in English. At Odlar Yurdu University, she is currently pursuing her master’s degree in English methodology. She has been teaching English for the past two years. Ms. Nuray has worked as a translator and English teacher in a variety of settings. During the teaching process with children, she is eager to learn and teach new strategies and methods. She has been working as a teaching assistant at Landau School for the past five months.
Ms. Sabina Orujova holds a bachelor’s degree on Chemistry Teaching in English from Baku Engineering University. She has 5 years of experience teaching English to students of various ages as a private tutor. She has a variety of foreign qualifications, including IELTS (Band 7.0), TESOL from Arizona State University, “Programming for Everyone” from Michigan University, and “Nanotechnology-course” Maker’s from Duke University, among others. Since she is a passionate person, she has dabbled in a variety of fields. She has two years of experience at a private course as a chemistry teacher. She has also worked as an intern chemistry teacher at a private school for half a year. Ms. Sabina has also worked at Khan Academy as a content translator. She is currently employed as a teaching assistant at the Bayil Campus of Landau Primary School.
Ms. Sevil holds a bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language and Literature from Ankara University and is a highly motivated and hardworking teacher. She works as a Teaching Assistant for 1st-grade primary school students and has around 2 years of experience.
Fidan Yusifli graduated from Tafakkur University’s “Science and Education Center.” As an English Language teacher, Ms. Fidan strives to apply her knowledge to the fullest extent possible and to never stop learning and acquiring new knowledge. As a result, she has numerous certificates from universities around the world, including Stanford University, John Hopkins University, Massachusetts University, and others. She is pursuing her development and wants to pursue TKT and CELTA certifications. She has worked as an English language teacher, an art teacher, a drama teacher, a support teacher, and a Primary School Teacher Assistant for the past four years. In her professional life, Ms. Fidan strives to be a role model for her students, creates a healthy and supportive atmosphere for them, and teaches them all she knows.
Narmin Masimova graduated from Baku Engineering University with a bachelor’s degree as a Primary School Teacher. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the History of Pedagogy and Theory at Baku Slavic University. She has three years of experience working as a primary school teacher and an English teacher for children aged 5 to 15 in a variety of settings. Ms. Narmin has a C1 Level Turkish language certificate from Baku Engineering University and she has an accredited CEF Grade Level B2 English certificate. She also holds Aptis from British Council with Overall CEFR Grade of B2. Ms. Narmin is currently working as a Teaching Assistant at the Bayil campus of Landau Primary School.
Ms. Nubar is a committed educator with two years of experience in the classroom. As an English teacher, she has worked with a variety of age groups in different educational settings. She has also volunteered in several international events. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in English Philology from Baku Slavic University. She began her Landau Academy journey in October 2020. In the year 2020, Ms. Nubar received an APTIS certificate. She is currently working at Landau School as a primary teaching assistant.
Primary Math Teacher
Ms. Amina Majidova is a passionate and professional teacher who enjoys teaching and encouraging others. She graduated with honors from the Azerbaijan State Economic University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree (MBA, English stream). She has completed her doctoral studies and is now working on her dissertation. Ms. Amina’s work has appeared in prestigious scholarly journals. She was awarded a certificate for her outstanding performance at the LANDAU Academy International School Teacher Training.
RUSSIAN LANGUAGE TEACHER
Jamila Atayeva is a Baku Slavic University graduate. She holds a bachelor’s degree in philology (Russian Language and Literature) as well as a master’s degree in Russian Literature Theory. She has many years of experience teaching Russian as a foreign language along with vast experience in children’s early development programs. She created the “Let’s Play” project in February 2019, which focuses on the growth of a child’s imagination, improvisation, innovation, and soft skills through gaming and interaction. She organizes and participates in a variety of activities for children’s development. She is currently employed as a Russian Language instructor at Landau School.
Azerbaijani language Teacher
Aygun Aliyeva holds a bachelor’s degree in the Azerbaijani Language and Literature Teaching from the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and she has graduated with a master’s degree in Literary Criticism from Baku State University with an honours diploma. She is an author of more than ten scientific articles and theses. She has also translated scholarly and literary works into Azerbaijani. She has been a participant and organizer of both local and international conferences. Ms. Aygun is currently employed as an Azerbaijani Language teacher at the Bayil campus of Landau School.
Russian Language Teacher
Aysel Melikova holds a bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature and a master’s degree with honours in Linguistics from Moscow State University. She has taught both Russian as a first language and Russian as a foreign language. Ms. Aysel has been teaching speed reading for two years. She is currently a Russian language teacher at LANDAU Primary School.
Azerbaijani language Teacher
Shahla Musayeva has worked in international schools for the past six years. Her educational history includes a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy (Primary school teacher) from Qafqaz University and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Qafqaz University. She holds a variety of foreign certifications. She enjoys encouraging her students as they learn new things. She is currently employed as an Azerbaijani Language instructor at the Landau School – Bayil Campus.
